I can smell the wood being cut and the wheels starting to turn.  It is time for pinewood derby.  This is such a fun event.  It teaches our boys about sportsmanship and being a craftsman.  You can take an ordinary block of wood and turn it into a fine tuned screaming machine.  Remeber parents this project is intended for your son to help do the work, even if it is just helping design and sand it they will be so proud of their work!

Don't forget Blue and Gold tickets will be on sale so bring your check book.
